How does a date proceed?
Completely relaxed. You meet at the meeting point and let the day unfold naturally. There is no moderation and no forced schedule.
All important details can be found on the website and in the email you receive the day before the Date. That’s all you need.
Where do the dates take place?
All locations are within roughly a 30-minute radius of the main station in each city.
You’ll receive the exact location by email the day before the meet-up.
Are the dates like speed dating or moderated events?
No. We consciously work without pressure, without a timer, without moderation.
It's not about collecting as many contacts as possible in a short time – but about truly getting to know people.
Is anyone from Date and® present at the meetings and moderating the date?
No. And that is a conscious decision.
At Date and® there is no moderation, no animation, and no artificial guidance.
The meetings should arise as naturally as possible – without someone standing by and "leading".
All the information you need can be found:
- in the detailed description on the website
- and in the email the day before your appointment (including all processes and small rituals)
That's all it takes.
Our formats are designed so that conversations can arise organically – without pressure, without a stage, without a "showmaster".
Do the dates always take place at the same location?
No.
We regularly choose new places – quiet cafés, lounges, bars, brunch spots, or wine bars that fit well with Date and®.
Sometimes it's a new place, sometimes a familiar one. Both have their own charm.
How many singles are attending the dates?
Maximum of 20 Singles – so that it remains calm, manageable, and easy to engage in conversation with each other. We always ensure a balanced gender ratio.
For which age groups are the dates held?
Our meetings currently take place in three deliberately closely defined age groups:
30–43, 40–53, and 50 - 63 years
The age groups overlap by three years.
This means:
If you are, for example, 42 or 51, you can decide whether you prefer to join the younger group or the slightly older one.
I have arrived at the location. How do I find the group?
Very simple:
Ask the staff about the reservation under the name “Date and”.
They will show you where the table is.
How do I find out about new dates?
All available dates are listed on the website. Furthermore, we inform in our Newsletter when there are new dates.
I have booked. What happens now?
After your booking, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation email within a few minutes.
One day before the Date, we’ll send you the exact meeting point. That’s all there is to it. Come to the meeting point, get to know singles in a relaxed way, and have fun!
What happens if not enough singles sign up for a date or the gender ratio is very unbalanced?
In that case, we unfortunately have to cancel the Date — but don’t worry: you can choose an alternative Date free of charge.
You will receive a corresponding email in that case.
I’ve booked a Date but can’t attend that day after all. Can I reschedule the Date?
Yes, that’s no problem. Simply send us a short email no later than 48 hours before your booked Date so we can arrange it accordingly.
