How does a date and meeting proceed?

Calm, clear, and without moderation.

You meet at the reserved table, place your smartphones in the small box at the beginning of Two formats – and let the evening unfold naturally.

All further processes are listed on the website and in the email you receive the day before the meeting. Nothing more is needed.

Where do the meet-ups take place?

All locations are within roughly a 30-minute radius of the main station in each city.

You’ll receive the exact location by email the day before the meet-up.

Are Dates and® meetings like speed dating or moderated events?

No. We consciously work without pressure, without a timer, without moderation.

It's not about collecting as many contacts as possible in a short time – but about truly getting to know people.

Is anyone from Date and® present at the meetings and moderating the meeting?

No. And that is a conscious decision.

At Date and® there is no moderation, no animation, and no artificial guidance.

The meetings should arise as naturally as possible – without someone standing by and "leading".

All the information you need can be found:

  • in the detailed description on the website
  • and in the email the day before your appointment (including all processes and small rituals)

That's all it takes.

Our formats are designed so that conversations can arise organically – without pressure, without a stage, without a "showmaster".

What happens if I can't make it to an appointment?

No problem. At Date and®, credits do not expire within your booked duration. If you have already reserved a spot for an appointment, please send us a short email at least 24 hours in advance if you will not be able to attend. Then your credits will be refunded. You can use them later – either

  • for an additional appointment next month or
  • to treat yourself to a format with a higher credit value (e.g., instead of OneTwo, instead of TwoThree).

This gives you maximum flexibility – and no pressure.

Do the meetings always take place at the same location?

No.

We regularly choose new places – quiet cafés, lounges, bars, brunch spots, or wine bars that fit well with Date and®.

Sometimes it's a new place, sometimes a familiar one. Both have their own charm.

How many people are attending the meetings?

Maximum of 14 Singles – so that it remains calm, manageable, and easy to engage in conversation with each other.

For which age groups are the meetings held?

Our meetings currently take place in three deliberately closely defined age groups:

30–38, 35–43, 40–48 and 45 - 60 years

Why so close?

Because we want you to meet people who are really in a similar stage of life as you — with similar expectations, experiences, and a similar life rhythm.

The groups overlap by three years each.

This means:

For example, if you are 36 or 42, you can decide for yourself whether you prefer to participate in the younger or slightly older group.

And if your age group is not currently offered:

Write to us briefly — via the contact form or directly at info@dateand.com.

This way we know which groups would like to have further meetings.

I have arrived at the location. How do I find the group?

Very simple:

Ask the staff about the reservation under the name “Date and”.

They will show you where the table is.

Can I also participate in meetings in other cities?

Yes - anytime.

Your membership is valid in the country where you booked it.

So if you are in another city on a weekend, you can also participate there.

What if I like someone?

On the table are pens and small napkins ready — a quiet reference to the time when one did not type numbers, but wrote them down personally and passed them on.

If you like someone, you simply write your number on the napkin.

How do I find out about new appointments?

All available dates are listed on the website. Furthermore, we inform in our Newsletter when there are new dates.

When does my membership begin?

From your booking date for 1, 3, or 6 months - depending on which membership you have chosen. We calculate here per month with 30 days.

Only exception: All memberships booked in December 2025 start on 01.01.2026, as all our appointments start in January 2026 (see appointment overview per city in the menu).

I have booked a membership. What happens now?

After your booking, you will receive an automatic confirmation via email within a few minutes.

If you have already written to us in the notes field about which meetings you would like to attend, everything is taken care of for you — we will automatically reserve your spot and you don’t have to do anything else.

If you want to decide later:

Just send us a short email as soon as you know which meetings you would like to attend.

You will usually receive your confirmation within 24 hours.

If you subscribe to our Newsletter, you will also be regularly reminded of our meetings — calmly, clearly, and without pressure.

Can I use my credits flexibly for all formats?

Yes – you can freely use your credits for all formats.

This means: Even if you have a One or Two membership, you can use your credits for any meeting – whether Pathways, Brunch, Stories, DeepTalk, or Wine, as long as you have collected enough credits for it (depending on the scheduled dates in your city).

This way, you always stay flexible – without restrictions and without risk.

How long are my credits redeemable?

As long as your membership is valid.

If you have a 3- or 6-month membership, you can also take a month off and use your credits later.

You lose nothing – you just accumulate.

How do you ensure that all members can attend a specific appointment when each appointment is limited to a maximum of 14 singles?

Quite simple: Then there are several groups at the same time in different locations.

You don't have to worry: When you book a membership, you also have a spot - you just need to let us know in the notes field of your booking or later by email, on which dates exactly you would like to participate.

What happens if not enough people sign up for an appointment or the gender ratio is very unbalanced?

In such a case, the credits will be automatically credited back to you, and you can redeem them for an appointment of your choice within your booked membership + 90 additional days afterwards. You will receive a confirmation email regarding this.

Can I transfer my membership?

No. Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

Can I cancel at any time?

Memberships run for 1, 3, or 6 months. No cancellation is necessary during this period — it ends automatically.
